The path toward greater sustainability is a central pillar of the league, always striving for an optimal balance between economic development, social justice, and environmental protection.
The ESL has launched various sustainability initiatives applied across all participants, aligning with the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and implementing over 50 best practices.

The European SUP League aligns with the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), establishing itself as a sports event that promotes positive social and environmental impact.
- SDG 1 (No poverty): Sportwears donation program
- SDG 2 (Zero hunger): Incorporate sustainable food options into the event’s catering, supporting the local economy and reducing the carbon footprint
- SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being): Promotion of an active and healthy lifestyle through sports.
- SDG 4 (Quality Education): Educational programs on ocean conservation and the importance of sports in personal development.
- SDG 5 (Gender Equality): Open competitions for both men and women, fostering equity in SUP.
