Huelva joins the European SUP League map with its own event: the European SUP Race Isla Cristina 2026. Shaped by the raw Atlantic identity of the Costa de la Luz, this stop brings together more than 200 athletes from over 20 countries for three days of top-level competition, culture and ocean lifestyle on one of the most spectacular coastlines in southern Europe.
Its long white sandy beaches, dunes, pine forests and the proximity of the protected Doñana Natural Park create a setting unlike any other on the ESL circuit. Isla Cristina brings something genuinely wild, powerful and authentic to European SUP.
The Atlantic conditions, the strong nautical tradition of the Huelva coast and the vibrant festival atmosphere — with live music, local gastronomy and the spirit of the Costa de la Luz — make this event a complete experience both on and off the water.
